Villa Liburnia is located in one of the most important regions in Italy; rich in history, art, economy, culture and the beauty of the countryside. Tuscany is universally renowned for its monuments and works of art. The cities of Firenze, Pisa, Siena and Lucca are perhaps the most well known worldwide but no less incredible are the wealth of art works and historical buildings found in the centre of Arezzo, Carrara, Pistoia and Prato. Last but not least, the cities of Grosseto, Livorno and Massa, still relatively undiscovered by tourists, but yet full of historical treasures.
Tuscany, along with Lombardy, features six places listed on the record of historical heritage sites important to mankind (UNESCO). Campania and Sicily are runner ups, with five sites each.
